In 2017, Mckenzie received a Canon camera as a Christmas gift—a simple gesture that would change everything. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion as she discovered the magic of capturing the beauty in the world around her and the people within it. With every snapshot, she realized photography was more than just an art form—it was a way to preserve emotions, stories, and fleeting moments forever. Driven by a deep love for storytelling through imagery, she founded MK Photography of NC, dedicated to helping others feel confident, comfortable, and radiant in front of the lens. Today, her mission remains the same: to capture timeless photographs that reflect the true essence of every individual.

We are always available to capture your moments and memories…except on Sunday. Our staff reserves Sunday for church and rest! We are always booking new clients and shoots at flexible hours Monday-Saturday!

Travel fees vary based off of location and distance. When you request a shoot, a detailed packet will be sent to you with information regarding your travel fees.

Yes! We require a deposit to secure your session date, and payment plan options may be available upon request. Just ask, and we’ll be happy to discuss flexible payment arrangements.
